Over the past eight years, she has served the Side by Side organization in various capacities, from Lead Clinician to Program Manager.



As a bilingual and bicultural social worker, Beatriz has been instrumental in the success of the North Bay Community Counseling (NBCC) program and the award-winning Raíces Unidas.



With Beatriz at the helm of the North Bay, we are confident that our youth and their families will receive the support they need to navigate their challenging environments successfully.

Marin Valentine's Ball

The Marin Valentine’s Ball 2025 was a smashing success at the San Rafael Civic Center on February 8. The Ball benefited three local agencies–North Bay Children’s Center, the Godmothers of Catholic Charities St. Vincent’s School for Boys, and Side by Side. Your attendance and support helped raise $340k for the vulnerable youth of Marin County–these funds will significantly impact their lives.

This year’s Ball hosted 380 attendees for cocktails, a seated dinner by Sage Catering, an awards ceremony honoring Don Meroff, silent and live auctions, and a post-dinner set with Jon Chi & The Pacific Syndicate and DJ Adam Twelve. Thank you to our emcee, Liam Mayclem, for his lively banter.

The seminar occurred at our San Anselmo campus on February 22, 2025. Attendees benefited from valuable caregiver strategies, enjoyed complimentary breakfast and lunch, and took advantage of free childcare services.
