Dear Bishop Moore Catholic Community,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I announce that Mr. Nicholas Pavgouzas has been selected as the Interim Principal for Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Mr. Pavgouzas will begin as Principal on July 1, 2024.
Mr. Pavgouzas holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and an undergraduate degree in Social Science Education from the University of Central Florida.
Mr. Pavgouzas has been with us for some time now, serving as Bishop Moore's Assistant Principal beginning in the fall of the 2022 school year. Before joining us at Bishop Moore, Mr. Pavgouzas was the principal at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in St. Cloud.
During his tenure as Assistant Principal at Bishop Moore Mr. Pavgouzas has championed our Programs of Distinction, planning and implementing the development of and curriculum for the Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, and Business Finance fields. In addition, Mr. Pavgouzas helped to expand our performing arts programs, adding a Jazz Band, Strings Ensemble, and a Dance elective.
Projections for our school growth and management of that growth have fallen to Mr. Pavgouzas. As the desire for families in Orlando to choose a Catholic education for their children continues to grow, Mr. Pavgouzas is ensuring that our school is prepared with highly qualified faculty and staff and facilities to manage classroom capacity.
Mr. Pavgouzas, a product of Catholic school education, has a servant's heart and is a deeply faith-filled leader. To know Mr. Pavgouzas is to love him. He is extremely caring and welcoming and has a passion for Catholic education that is unparalleled.
As Mr. Pavgouzas takes on his new role as Principal, I do not doubt that he will continue to lead Bishop Moore with integrity, compassion, and excellence. Please join me in congratulating him on this well-deserved appointment. Let us continue to pray for him and for Bishop Moore Catholic High School.
