May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month, observed annually in May, shines a spotlight on the importance of prioritizing mental well-being and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues. Through education, advocacy, and support, this month-long campaign encourages open conversations and fosters a compassionate understanding of mental health challenges.

The MBA staff participated in the Employee Wellness Move for Mental Health event in Skyward Fieldhouse on May 2.

Alumni Spotlight: Adam Fandre

Adam Fandre, MBA '21 feels strongly about workplace wellness. He believes many employers overlook the importance of wellness by viewing it as a hassle or an investment with little to no return. The MBA program put him in a position to showcase how focusing on employees’ health and wellbeing is not only beneficial to them, but the organization as a whole.
