Dear SFX Community,

Happy Friday as things start to heat up in the desert! Big thanks to Anne Sanford and Ann Coover for putting together an outstanding golf tournament today. We are so thankful for everyone's support and all that were able to come and enjoy today’s event.

This week we had the opportunity to celebrate many exciting things on our campus. Wednesday, our Kindergartners led us beautifully in the May Crowning ceremony and Mass. I was so impressed with how well they read and led us in our celebration.

Yesterday our 8th grade Student Council members passed the baton to our 7th graders. It is a great tradition at our school and we are excited for them to lead the way next year.

Please keep our 8th graders in your prayers as they travel to Washington DC next week. The week after that is their graduation week so lots of exciting things on the horizon for them.

With three weeks to go in the school year, let’s continue to push hard and finish strong!

News & Events

Teacher Appreciation Week

This coming week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Monday will be Principal Appreciation Day and the rest of the week we'll celebrate our teachers. Show them some love with a simple gesture like a hand made card or note. The Wolf Den also has lots of great options!

School Supplies

This year we've partnered with 1st Day School Supplies again to help make your back to school shopping easy.

The online store is open. All you have to do is select your student's grade level for next year, purchase the kit and the supplies will be ready for your student in their classroom on the first day of school. Bonus! For each kit sold, SFX will receive a $5 donation.

If you prefer to go shopping on your own, you're more than welcome to do that too. You can download the supply lists here.

Be a Family for Others! There's an option to donate a kit. This year we're requesting donations for the following grades:

Class of 2020 Alumni Pizza Party

Final Reminder! Every year we invite graduating seniors back to our SFX Campus before they head off to college.

Help spread the word to our SFX Class of 2020! The party will take place this Tuesday, May 7th at 3:15 pm in The Sullivan courtyard. Share the registration link with them to sign up.

SFX Cheerleaders

Go Wolves Go! Our SFX cheer squad brought the school spirit at Pledge & Prayer this week. Their energy was a great way to kick off the day!

May Crowning

This week our Kindergartners led us in a beautiful Mass and May Crowning ceremony.

Inclusion in Action

A big thank you to the engineering students from Mountain Trail Middle School who visited our campus to give therapeutic toys they created to our students. They brought so much joy!

PE Teachers for the Day

The Tamm siblings took over the Gym as the PE teachers for the day. These new coaches had a blast!

Mr. Favaro for the Day

Eleanor Thompson had a chance to help Mr. Favaro in the music room for the day. She was a natural!

Thank you to all of you who took advantage of our Sidewalk Sale. If you missed the sale this week, we still have items available either in store or online. Teacher Appreciation Week is next week - please consider stopping by for gift cards. If you are thinking about stocking up now for next school year, we have plenty of polos and PE uniforms.

Families for Others

Volunteer with SFX Mini Vinnies

SFX has two volunteer opportunities every Monday to serve dinner in the dining hall at SVDP from 3:30-6:30 pm. Volunteers must be ages 9 and older and accompanied by an adult.

The first Saturday of every month is a “Hearts and Hands” program from 9:00-11:30 am that includes arts and crafts or other projects appropriate for our youngest volunteers.
