Discover all the different ways to learn, serve, and participate in the wide variety of Trinity ministries at the Ministry Fair after both the 8am and 10am services. Lay leaders from over 30 ministries and groups will have tables set up on the Labyrinth during both coffee hours, with information about how to get involved. Be sure to stop by!

Summer Food with Friends

Sign Up by May 12


Summer Food with Friends is an excellent way to meet new people and deepen connections at Trinity. Join parishioners for planned potluck or restaurant meals in homes or other communal locations. Groups will convene three or four times between May and summer’s end. Each group will comprise six to eight people, including singles, couples, and families. The Summer Food with Friends groups can gather in homes, restaurants, porches, parks, backyards, and even the beach for breakfast, lunch, brunch, or dinner. Women's Group: Women at the Well

Saturday, May 4, 4-5pm


The Women at the Well group meets monthly in the Trinity Youth Group room (enter from Micheltorena), with an optional dinner at The Natural Café restaurant on Hitchcock following the meeting. Mothering Ourselves will be the topic explored this month. We will look at ways to care for ourselves as well as we care for others. Men's Group

Trinity Men’s Group meets at 4pm on the first Monday of each month in the Trinity library. After the meeting, participants are welcome to gather at Santa Barbara Public Market to share a meal.

Compline with Story and Sound

Sunday, May 12, 7-8pm



Join us in the candle-lit sanctuary for an evening of meditative music, tea, blankets, and incense. The May storyteller is parishioner Scott Wilson. Scott was born and raised in Santa Barbara before working for more than 30 years as a journalist, the vast majority of that time for The Washington Post, covering conflicts in Latin America and the Middle East, the Obama presidency and the American west.

An Afternoon with Peace Activist John Dear

Saturday, May 18, 2-4pm


Don't miss this incredible opportunity to meet long-time activist, author, and teacher Father John Dear. During these times of warfare, gun violence, racism, poverty, and climate change, John Dear has much to say in his new book, which is a commentary on the Gospels from the perspective of nonviolence. Prepare to be stirred up and inspired. Invite your friends!

Graduation Celebration and Picnic

Sunday, June 9


A special 10am worship service where we celebrate the children who will move into a new atrium level next year, honor our graduating seniors, and thank the catechists for their devotion. Celebrate with the graduates and families at a potluck picnic at Alameda Park at noon. All are welcome!

Children and Youth

Nursery on Sundays 9-11:30am


The nursery is available for infants and for toddlers under the age of three and a half. It is located on the second floor of the Parish Hall.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)

Sunday, May 5, 9am


CGS begins as early as 9am in the Children's Building. Children join the congregation in time for the Eucharist during the 10am service.

Youth Group

The Youth Group will meet after the service this week in the Kitchen to check in and look forward to Graduation Sunday!

The Kindness Quest

Folk Orchestra Concert at Trinity

Folk Orchestra of Santa Barbara is a 30-piece orchestra of classical strings mixed with harp, guitars, mandolin, and bagpipes led by the talented Adam Phillips. This month they will put on a fun and exciting program of favorites from all their different programs: Scottish, The Sixties, Nordic, Spanish, Galician, Mexican, and Medieval! Come have a blast! Sarah House provides a beautiful home and end-of-life care for people of low income. It continues its original mission by providing for men and women with HIV/AIDS. New Daytime Navigation Center Community Open House and Fundraiser

Santa Barbara's newest Daytime Navigation Center for people experiencing homelessness is opening soon. Our friends at SBACT invite you to come and celebrate, tour, and support the center's opening. Tickets are $25 using this link: sbact.org/events. The center is located at 621 Chapala Street.

Interfaith Silent Vigil

Thursdays, 5-6pm, on State Street at Anapamu


Join us as we stand together in silent, caring presence for all in a time of great pain. This is a meaningful way to support each other and our hurting world. Bring a candle, if you have one.
