Wednesday, May 1st, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Mesa Public Library

The Nobel Prize in Physics has been disproportionately awarded to Jewish scientists, beginning with the first American scientist to win a Nobel, Albert Michelson. Half of the Nobel winners connected to Los Alamos in the Manhattan Project era were Jewish, including Fred Reines, the only individual to date whose work conducted at the Lab was recognized with the Nobel Prize. Join us for an evening of discussion and discovery to learn about the lives and work of many of the Jewish Nobel Prize winners in physics as we launch National Jewish American Heritage Month.
