Sunday, April 28 | Worship at 9 & 11 AM | Festival at 12-3 PM
Please join us for worship, fellowship, and celebration. We'll have joyful Family Worship at 9 AM. At 11 AM, Bishop Susan Goff will be our special guest, we will Confirm new souls, and enjoy music from the Short Pump Symphonette. Then, the cherry-on-top-of-the-sundae (Sunday?): let's gather for a fun Spring Festival from 12-3 PM including games, food trucks, crafts, a bouncy house, and fellowship with church friends! Rain or shine, we'll use the Garage, parking lot, and lawn. Please bring payment for the food trucks, the rest is our gift to you.

Our Annual Concert and Fundraiser will move your spirit, glorify God, and support an important local mission

The entire community is invited to worship through song and word as we experience the splendor of God's glory through Christ Church's "Illuminare: Your Light Has Come."
Featuring the Christ Church choir and musicians, under the direction of Keith Tan, we will praise God through music and learn more about how ACTS is a shining example of God’s love at work. ACTS helps our neighbors who are often one step away from homelessness.

Families, let's learn about Baptism and Holy Communion
Sunday, May 5 | 10 AM |
Baptism and Holy Communion are the two great sacraments given by Christ to his Church. These spiritual markers are an important part of our children’s faith journeys. Let’s talk more about these sacraments so that parents and children are informed and connected!
Families are invited to gather in the Parlor for a brief but meaningful time together. Adam Williams, Minister to Families, will meet with parents to discuss Baptism and answer any questions you may have. Father Ken will take the children into the Sanctuary for a kid-friendly discussion about Holy Communion, helping children understand more about this ritual and its meaning. Ms. Margina will be on hand to help out and the playground and prayround are only steps away if kiddos need a break. No need to register, just please come.

Nursery Update: We're still a beautiful, free-range, holy space for all people
An unplanned maintenance issue is keeping the main nursery closed again this week, but we're happy to report that we will be able to offer staffed nursery care in the Family Room. The bathrooms in the nursery are also accessible. We love that CCE is a "free-range" place where children and families can move around as needed. Children are always welcome in worship, the "playground" is always open for active bodies, and we invite you to use the Family Room for nursery care.

Car Wash Fundraiser for Recreation and Hospitality
Saturday, May 4, 10 AM-1 PM
We're proud to support Scouts BSA Pack and Troop 788, chartered under Christ Church. Through scouting, boys and girls learn how to serve others.
Church member Caedmon Tan is hosting a car-wash to raise funds for his Eagle Scout Project. To provide hospitality and recreation opportunities for our community, Caedmon is designing and building picnic tables and a pit to play the popular group sport, gaga ball. Any extra funds raised will be donated to the church. The car-wash will be held in front of the Garage at CCE. Please stop by as you're able and support this good cause! You can also donate online here.
