Dear Kodiak Community,
Thank you to all who supported the Roundup and Auction event last Saturday! We're continuing to move toward our goal to meet $200k of raised funds for our students and programs.
We look forward to opening night of the much anticipated Upper School Spring Musical: Starmites, with performances tonight (7 pm), Saturday (7 pm) and Sunday (2 pm)!
On Wednesday, our Kindergarten class serenaded our Seniors from LPAC stage with music (see full video below). During the assembly Josh Gillon, Math Department Chair for Upper School was awarded with the 2024 CU Boulder Outstanding High School Educator award! Thank you for such a beautiful assembly in celebration for our seniors!
In Athletics our girls tennis team continues to move forward toward state championships! Go Kodiaks!
The Colorado College Summer Music Festival invites CSS to attend the concert on May 8th, and is providing free tickets to the entire CSS community including faculty, staff, parents and students. Please reply if you're interested in tickets via email by May 2nd.
The concert will cover many genres including classical, latin, jazz, and Broadway. Tickets are for general admission (open seating) in Packard Hall at Colorado College (5 W. Cache la Poudre, on corner of Cache & Cascade Ave.) and tickets will be provided at Will-Call at starting at 6 p.m., Doors Open at 6:30 p.m. and performance begins at 7:00 p.m.
Expect a follow-up communication soon from us to outline the long-term plans and vision for our Lower School Division as move ahead as a community.
