Saving (and then cuddling) puppies: All in a day's work

Maya,

It was national puppy day over the weekend! This is an annual holiday that brings attention to the cuteness of baby canines. Here at WCHS, we celebrate puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats everyday. Saving puppies (and then cuddling them) is all in a day's work.

On Saint Patrick's Day, two of our staff members Hayley and Mollee (pictured above with Brenda the pup), had the opportunity to unload and transport 5 lucky dogs aged 3.5 months to 5 years from Madison, NJ back to our shelter here in Vermont.

"We got to see all of their excited faces as they were coming off of the plane, touching the ground once again," said Mollee. "We are so grateful to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center and their amazing staff!"

As puppies do, these friends flew like hotcakes to their new, loving homes. Your support makes these lifesaving trips possible. We, and the pups, are so thankful for you–on national puppy day, and every day.
