Bridging the Gap: Our Partnership with Hannaford

In today's world, where access to nutritious food isn't always guaranteed, healthcare providers are increasingly recognizing the importance of addressing food insecurity as a part of comprehensive patient care.

Good Neighbor Health Clinic is proud to announce our partnership with Hannaford to tackle this issue head-on. Together, we're committed to ensuring that patients facing food insecurity have access to immediate food resources after their medical or dental appointments. While food pantries play a crucial role in providing long-term support, patients often face immediate needs after appointments.

When patients visit the Good Neighbor Health Clinic or Red Logan Dental Clinic, they have the opportunity to access these food resources. This might include pre-packaged meals, pantry staples, and in the summer, fresh produce. Our health and dental providers work closely with patients to identify their needs and connect them with appropriate resources. Together, we're working to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the nutritious food they need to thrive.

Transforming Lives & Spreading Smiles - One Brushstroke At A Time!

A welcoming and pleasing clinic not only uplifts spirits but also contributes to a sense of well-being for both patients, staff, and volunteers.

The repainted clinic spaces now serve as more than just a place for medical and dental care - they are sanctuaries of healing and hope. Patients walking through our doors are greeted by warm colors and inviting spaces, which can alleviate anxiety and promote a sense of comfort during what may be a stressful time.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff of Claremont Savings Bank and all the remarkable volunteers who lent their time and talent to paint the walls of our medical and dental clinics!

The LGBTQIA2S+ community has faced numerous challenges in accessing quality healthcare, ranging from discrimination and stigma to a lack of understanding from healthcare providers. This has led to significant health disparities.

The reintroduction of this clinic reaffirms the importance of recognizing and addressing the unique healthcare needs of LGBQIA2S+ individuals. By providing accessible, affirming, and cost-free healthcare services, this clinic serves as a lifeline for many individuals who have long been marginalized within the healthcare system. We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA2S+ community and support initiatives that promote health and well-being for all.

We're thrilled to offer a safe and inclusive space for adults (18+) to access essential healthcare services tailored to their unique needs. Stay tuned for more details on how we're prioritizing health and well-being.
