Ottawa Senators welcome military families for the 20th Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Games! 
This year, the partnership raised over $75,000 through the Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Game and an additional donation from the Ottawa Senators Foundation.

The event allowed military families to experience the joy of hockey and feel the warmth of support from the fans and the community. 
Tutoring program helps fill educational gaps for children of military families 
“Seeing the need that existed, we were able to create this program to capture families that were otherwise left out of currently available supports,” said Andrea Smith, the Senior Manager of the CFMWS Guidance Counsellor Program. 
 
In 2023, the first year of the Support Our Troops Tutoring Program, 45 of the 50 available bursaries were filled. The program opened in September of 2023, offering $1000 to each eligible child from kindergarten to grade 12. 
CANEX Gives Back raises the highest total since 2019! 
Thanks to your generosity and CANEX’s donation match, each year military families receive a helping hand during the holidays.

This year, a remarkable $40,000 went to our Canadian Armed Forces community!

This September, Canada Army Run offers their full suite of events including: 5K, 10K, 5+10K, Half Marathon and Commander’s Challenge.  



Navy Bike Ride

This June, join us in Ottawa, Esquimalt, Halifax or Quebec City to ride and run in support of our naval community. If you are unable to join us in person, you can join us, from the comfort of your own community with our virtual events.  
Did You Know?

The National Summer Camps Program offers children of eligible serving military families of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) the opportunity to receive reimbursement grants to attend an accredited summer camp of their choice? 
 
Thanks to the generous contributions from donors, Support Our Troops helps nearly 400 children each year to enjoy summer camps across Canada.  
 
This year, online applications for 2024 camp grants open on March 20, 2024.
