Wild Oats Market has joined other cooperatives partnered with National Cooperative Grocers to ask Congress to reject any Farm Bill that would weaken SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) funding. Currently the House proposal for the Farm Bill contains provisions that could reduce future SNAP funding by nearly $30 billion over the next decade. This information comes from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, which provides data-based financial estimates for proposed legislation. 

At Wild Oats Market, we are committed to supporting SNAP and helping to feed our community. If you have an active SNAP card, you can also receive a Free Healthy Food For All Membership, allowing you to save on each visit to the Co-op.

A heartfelt shout out for your generosity and support for the Williamstown Food Pantry. Our guest service desk has been buzzing with food donation activity and YETI Cooler raffle ticket sales to benefit this donation center. Carol from the Food Pantry visited the Co-op this week to pickup funds and donations. These contributions make a difference in our community and we thank you!

You can visit the Williamstown Food Pantry directly at 53 Southworth Street, in Williamstown, MA anytime and pick up from them on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 9 am to 12 pm.
