Bates in Bloom was just the right amount of relaxed quality time to see school through our kids’ eyes! Big thanks to Principal Jolley, teachers and staff for hosting.

Sunshine, longer daylight hours, and warmer temps - signal the home stretch of the school year, and our service. We hope you know we will carry you home! (Is anyone catching the song lyrics occasionally laced into the Blast? At the very least it’s keeping us entertained.) 

5th grade class parents are feeling all of the nostalgia as they see the end of elementary school on the horizon. The Laliberte Family generously offered to get the 5th grade class parents together… one more time. It’s the end of an era - let’s go out with a bang(er).

Planning for 2025-26

Volunteers are an important part of Bates! Not all roles happen during school hours or in person — there are many behind the scenes roles that can be done from home or on your own time. Some opportunities can take as little as 30 minutes! To maximize your time we combined our volunteer showcase and our next All-Parent PTO meeting.

We invite you to join us for coffee and treats at drop off on Tuesday, 5/20 8-8:30am in front of the school. We will have a list of open roles for next year which include opportunities of every kind, from bit-sized volunteer ops, to meaty roles, to virtual lifts. Grab a friend you like to spend time with, and join us! Invite with more details to come.

Same process for all WPS bus sign-ups:

• Log-in here: WPS Online Registration System and select Transportation link
• You will see "Bus Transportation- 913938"
• Click the down arrow to register

Registration is similar to signing up for a rec center class
