District 65 is thrilled to present The Scoop in 65, a new video series that will share news and highlights from across the district!

Today's episode includes information about:



  1. African American Youth Achievement Awards: This longstanding celebration honored 33 District 65 students and eight District 202 students who are keeping the visions and legacy of African American pathfinders and pioneers alive on a daily basis. See the full list of recipients on our website. Congratulations!
  2. Spelling Bee winners: Congratulations to our winners, Jack from Chute and Cecily from Haven, and all of our participants!
  3. Lunar New Year: Dewey Elementary held its first Lunar New Year celebration with two student assemblies and a family event.
  4. Summer Learning: Spend your summer with us! Priority deadline for D65 Summer Learning is Sunday, February 25.
  5. New school websites: We recently launched brand-new school websites for each of our buildings, along with an updated version of our District 65 website! On average, there are almost 28,000 visits to our district website each month! Check out the new site
