Many thanks... you're SOUP-er!

Because of your kindness and generosity, many hungry folks will be fed. For this year's SouperBowl of Caring, the donations totalled $2,400 (for ELCA World Hunger and All Faiths Food Bank) and 245 food items (for School House Link and Second Chance Last Opportunity).

Mark your calendars for next year's SouperBowl -- Sunday. February 2 and February 9, 2025.

Thank You Salvation Army Bell Ringers!

Thank you to all the volunteers that participated in the Salvation Army Kettle drive for 2023. We had 91 participants covering 208 hours of ringing. A special thanks to SAKLC members that put personal checks in the kettle. Without your help we would not have collected the very impressive dollar amount of $48,783.28. The Salvation Army is very grateful for your hard work. SAKLC started this project in 2014. Well done good and faithful servant!

Refugee Ministry Update

We were able to help this lady get a bike which are prized possessions because they're used to get to work and to the grocery store. Anyone who has a bike that they’d like to donate please contact Nona and if it needs slight repairs, I have someone who will do that. We have helped two families from Cuba and one family from Venezuela in the last two weeks with all the furnishings that they need. Sincere thanks for your donations!
