Dear RBUSD Students & Families,

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, November is the perfect month to express gratitude for our students, school board, staff, families, and partners. We would not have the value-added programs and experiences that make RBUSD so exceptional without your support and volunteerism on our campuses, at events, and in our school community.

For giving time to volunteer at school and help in our community. Students below are shown helping at animal rescues and community events, teaching soccer skills to special needs kids, restoring native plants at our beaches, and organizing books for libraries at underserved schools in Los Angeles. We are thankful for the many RBUSD students who give back in a multitude of ways. Your energy and passion make our schools and community a better place!

Lastly, congrats to our elementary and middle school Robotics teams that competed in the FIRST LEGO League! Shout out to Washington Elementary teams, Battle Botz and Lego Explorers, for winning the Engineering Excellence award and taking first place out of 24 teams. They are off to the Regional competition. Adams and Lincoln teams placed in the top 3 teams. Way to go RBUSD! This would not be possible without staff and parent volunteers.
