BARBERTON

Active Transportation Plan

The Barberton Active Transportation Plan was developed in 2022 through the collaboration of numerous community partners, and will be reviewed by City Council in the coming months. Summit County Public Health will continue to support active transportation and create healthy, sustainable ways for people of all ages and abilities to commute in and around the City of Barberton in 2023. The planning team is working to select a project from the list of recommended support programs in the Barberton Active Transportation Plan, such as an organized bicycle club and “How We Roll Rides” that provide a platform for community education about safe active transportation.
