PINWHEELS FOR PREVENTION

Tuesday, April 1 • 1pm-2pm

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

WVNCC will once again display the pinwheel garden in the front courtyards. If you would like to participate, please meet outside your campus at 1 PM on April 1st to take part.

Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as the national symbol for child abuse prevention. The pinwheel serves as a physical reminder of the happy and healthy childhoods we want for all children. And as a symbol, the cyclical nature of the pinwheel calls to mind the positive cycles of love and support we want to help families create.

Over a million pinwheels have been displayed since April 2008. Stop by to visit the pinwheel garden and learn more about the initiative today!
