Parent/Caregiver Climate Survey

Parent/Caregiver Climate Survey - If you haven’t had a chance, please complete our parent/caregiver climate survey that SRVUSD and Cal High use to guide decisions based on parent/caregiver perceptions of a variety of aspects of our school. Cal High admin and other educational partners also use the data to guide decision making. View the entire letter to parents/caregivers here.

Some things to note:

  • This is for all parents/caregivers.
  • Your participation is important, but voluntary.
  • The survey is anonymous. However, if you feel the answer to certain questions may identify you, you can choose to skip answering them.

The survey is linked above (and here) and here is the URL:

https://wested.ugam-apps.com/wested/ts/kn1l’

We very much appreciate if you can take the time to complete it this coming week. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Textbooks

Reminder For All Students:

We need your overdue library books, borrowed Chromebooks and textbooks returned! Please don't let them get lost or damaged by waiting too long to return them. If you still have books from middle school, we are happy to take them back here at Cal. Also, a reminder that you must be in good standing to purchase tickets for Junior Prom. Thank you!

Student Handbook Textbook Policy

Due to the recent spike in car break-ins, we would like to remind our community of the Student Handbook policy regarding Textbooks. Please treat our property as you would your own and do not leave books in your car. Thank you.

50th Anniversary Edition of the Cal High Yearbook (2024)

1) Purchasing a yearbook:  Please check this list (link here) to see if you have purchased a yearbook (press <ctl><f> to find your name). Ms. Brindley is now selling yearbooks for cash or check only (payable to Cal High Yearbook) in WL-1 until all the ordered yearbooks have been sold. The past two years we have sold out the yearbooks, so please DO NOT WAIT to purchase a yearbook.

2) Deadlines: Please know that the yearbook class has very tight deadlines and all senior and underclassmen pictures have been sent in to be published. The book must be completed by March 28th. It is too late to make any changes to senior portraits and underclassmen pictures.

Student Spotlights: Now through Sunday, March 4th at midnight, the yearbook class is accepting student spotlights for students of ALL GRADES. For only $2.50 you can create a 1/16 page ad for your student that will be included in the yearbook with any message or picture(s) you want. See this letter for more information: 2024 Yearbook Staff & Student Spotlight letter

If you have any other yearbook-related questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Brindley via email (jbrindl@srvusd.net).
