Hello, organizing clients and friends!

Below are ‘before & after’ photos from three garages I worked on last month. Each took a single 4-hour organizing session, culminating in Happy Hauler coming to take items to be donated, recycled, or delivered to the dump. 

The process for each garage was the same: the clients and I first sorted through each item to decide what to keep and what to let go of.

We moved the ‘to go’ items outside the garage for the haulers to pick up. We then sorted the remaining items into categories to store in matching plastic lidded bins (pictured: Iris 62-qt WeatherPro, Iris 60-qt Stackable in black/yellow, Sterilite 64-qt Latching, IKEA Sockerbit) which then went onto existing shelving or new shelving to be assembled (Gladiator 4-Tier Welded Steel). We added big labels on each bin. 

The results: open space for a car, or a home gym, or a workshop, plus items stored neatly by category in labeled bins so everything is easy to find.
