Classroom Spotlight: AP Biology

Students in Michele Koehler’s AP Biology class learned about the “Miracle Berry,” a fruit that can change a taster’s perception of sour foods into sweet. Students tried a Miracle Berry tablet and tasted various sour and sweet foods, like lemons, limes, sour candy, apples, salt and vinegar potato chips, and a tangy drink. The students observed the change in taste of the sweet and sour items and compared the taste to how the items tasted before eating the Miracle Berry. A fun lesson for AP Bio students! 🍋
