First Approach Skills Training: Behavior Basics This free on-demand, self-paced training from providers share tips for children ages 5-12 on a wide variety of child behavior topics. Included in the training are 8 core skill videos, 3 bonus skill videos that you can watch at your own pace, and a downloadable workbook. 


Expecting Male Involvement - Shifting Mindsets, Part 1 Happening Thursday, February 15th at 11:30 am PST three presenters will provide insights into how we can address important questions as we reflect together on the policy, culture, and leadership needs for fathers, and explore men’s needs in both giving and receiving care. What changes must our systems enact so that men understand their work is at home and isn’t in the streets? What’s the love letter we as a society must write to our men to let them know they are an essential presence in their child's life? Join us for this two-part series (Part 2 occurs in March), as Black and Brown fathers reclaim the narrative of male involvement. 



2024 Parenting While Black Series This five part series starts Monday, March 18th, 12 – 1:30 PM presented by Eurnestine Brown, Ph.D., Director of Relational Equity and Belonging at the Brazelton Touchpoints Center. This free, interactive, virtual series offers a safe and welcoming space to hold unapologetic conversations for and by Black families.


Washington Institute for Parent Leadership and Advocacy -Registration is now open The Washington Institute for Parent Leadership and Advocacy (IPLA) is a free, online, advocacy and civic participation course for Washington parents and those who work with families. This 10-week, 18-session, transformative, and empowering course is based on social justice and will help you understand how local and state systems are structured, how to become fully engaged in your community and Washington public schools, and how to speak confidently with decision-makers to advocate for what matters most to you.

Incredible Years - Free In-Person Family Program for people with kids ages 3-6

Starting Tuesday, Feb 27th in the Concrete Boys and Girls Club Portable, the Incredible Years® Program is a 14-week series designed to enhance parenting skills and confidence while encouraging parental engagement. This evidence-based program aims to improve children’s academic, social, and emotional abilities while decreasing behavioral issues.

In this series, parents learn how to: help their children feel loved and secure, encourage their children’s language, social, and emotional development, establish clear and predictable routines, handle separations and reunions, use positive discipline to manage misbehavior, build community with other parents facing similar challenges, and wins in parenting.
