April Showers Bring New Members to the Chamber

Ribbon Cutting Hosted by Mind Body Balance Clinic this Tuesday


Please join the Ambassadors and our Wheaton Chamber members tomorrow, Tuesday, as we celebrate with Dr. Michael Quintana from Mind Body Balance Clinic at his Ribbon Cutting ceremony. The event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with a welcome ceremony at 5:00 p.m. at 400 W. Liberty Drive, Suite B, in Wheaton.

Some of our favorite members are coming together to host some information sessions on Viking Cruises! Kari Becker of Marvelous Mouse Travels, Cheryl Shurtz of RE/MAX Suburban and Nancy Bell of HT|TC Wealth Partners are hosting information sessions at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, at the Wheaton Public Library and another on Thursday, May 2, at 6:15 p.m. at RE/MAX Suburban, 1417 N. Walk to Meet Food Needs Here and Around the World


On Saturday, May 5, the 40th Glen Ellyn/Wheaton CROP Walk will kick off from St. Paul Lutheran Church at 515 S. Wheaton Ave. in Wheaton to raise funds for food needs locally and around the world. Ten churches and organizations in our community will walk at 2:00 p.m. for three miles around the streets of Wheaton. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m.


“We invite everyone to join us for the walk or support the fight against hunger with a donation,” said Jared Olson, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church and co-chair of the Wheaton Chamber’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. To learn more, click here.

Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals Set for June 1

Celebrate Cosley Zoo's 50th anniversary by signing up for the Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals on June 1 at Memorial Park. Choose from 5K/10K races starting at 7:30 AM and a Kids' 1/2 Mile at 8:45 AM. Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for kids until April 30. Participants get a long-sleeve t-shirt, refreshments, and a finisher medal. Wheaton Public Library Hosts NAMI Info table

Stop by the main floor of the Wheaton Public Library on Tuesday, May 7, to meet with a representative from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and learn more about what this remarkable resource offers. NAMI, a Wheaton Chamber of Commerce member, offers education and assistance to those dealing with mental health issues and their families. The representative will answer questions from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Downtown Wheaton Welcomes Back the Tents

The tents are coming back, beginning May 3! The Innovator Hale Street Tents return for another summer of outdoor dining, live music and fun, making Downtown Wheaton a destination for all. The tents will be up May 3 through October 6, 2024. Visit the Downtown Wheaton Association's website for information and participating restaurants. City Spotlights State Grant

The City of Wheaton has a robust business page on their website, providing information about the $175 million available in B2B grants for restaurants, hotels and creative arts businesses. The deadline is May 10 to apply for the B2B Arts and B2B Restaurant grant awards--click here to learn more. All eligible applicants will receive a grant as long as the business meets eligibility requirements and submits proper documents and attestations.
