The Dickinson Research Extension Center collaborates with various faculty at the NDSU Main Campus in Fargo. Projects include our genetic work with Dr. Laura Hanna, integrated cropping/livestock systems with Dr. Larry Cihacek, and soybean phosphorus with Dr. Lindsay Malone. Having said that, Dr. Lindsay Malone is a relatively new assistant professor at NDSU in the School of Natural Resource Sciences, focusing on Climate-Smart Approaches in Agriculture and looking for your input.

Dr. Malone’s NDSU research thus far includes nutrient management in soybean, planting technology, and cover crop variability - some small puzzle pieces in the larger picture of "Climate Smart" practices. One of Malone's early goals in her position is to dig into what "Climate Smart" looks like in North Dakota, and more specifically how our research in this area can help North Dakotan farmers and agricultural communities thrive into the future. To dig into this question, Malone has put out a survey targeting crop advisors, producers, Extension, and any other agricultural community members. The findings will help guide future research and provide some much-needed context about stakeholder perspectives on these issues.

If you would like to fill out the survey, here is a link:https://forms.gle/UJBYEkt5vCayK7PP6. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, and there are more details on the first page. If you have any questions, please reach out to Lindsay Malone at lindsay.malone@ndsu.edu
