April 24, 2024

Our Apologies: For the second week in a row, we experienced technical difficulties during Sunday worship and the livestream was not available. We're doing our best to access recordings of services on April 14, and April 21. The system is currently being repaired and as of today, we are planning to livestream on Sunday, April 28.

At Sunday's annual meeting, the 2024-2028 vestry slate was unanimously approved. Read more about your new vestry members: Kirsten Breckinridge, Marshall Hevron, Michael Kearney, and Holt Kolb.

At the Women of Trinity Church's Annual Spring Tea on Wednesday, April 17, Linda Stone was honored with the Lifetime Achievement award, and Beverly Lamb, with Volunteer of the Year. We are so thankful to these two ladies for the incredible gift of their time and talent.

What's Happening:

Backpack Drive for TEEP and Community Children - The Mission Commission is collecting backpacks for children in the community, including our TEEP children! Our goal is to provide 200 backpacks - 120 for TEEP, and 80 to divide between our two community partners, Jesus Project Ministries and St. Roch Community Church. Backpacks can be delivered to the vestibule of the church or Bishops Hall through the end of May. You can also provide funding to purchase a backpack! Make a check out to Trinity and drop it at the school office or in the mail (memo line: Backpack Drive). Questions? Contact Rev. John Pitzer at jpitzer@trinitynola.com. Please remember most public schools require either clear or mesh backpacks for elementary school age children and older.
