AIA Rochester Coat Drive

To benefit Rochester City School District

Now through December 7th!

AIA Rochester's holiday fundraiser is taking on a new format in 2023. This Fall, AIA Rochester will be collecting coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens to be donated to the Rochester City School District for distribution to kids in need.

Anyone making a donation to our holiday box will be entered to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card!

We will be collecting items at the Annual Meeting and the Holiday Party. You can also drop donations off at the AIA Office (Warner Castle, 5 Castle Park on M-Th from 9AM - 4PM) or we can even make arrangements to pick up from you!

The drawing will take place at our Holiday Party in December. Let's keep our kids warm this Winter and support the growing needs of our community.

Committee Highlight: COTE Committee

The AIA Rochester Committee on the Environment (COTE) led by Mark Maddalina, AIA from SWBR is a committee working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

We meet every other month virtually and we hope you will join us! Click here to view the Minutes of our June Meeting. If there is a level of commitment i.e. any projects coming up we will increase committee demand we will meet more often. You can register here and all are welcome!
