Andrea Barefield

Board Member


Andrea Barefield is a second-term Waco City Council Member representing District 1. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Public Relations. From there, Andrea went on to be the Main Street Manager for City Center Waco, where she developed and cultivated a sense of community in Downtown Waco through historic preservation and placemaking.




After her contributions at the City Center Waco, Andrea joined the Texas Brazos Trail Region, which is a part of the Texas Heritage Trails Program, where she currently holds the title of Executive Director, leading the program in educating, engaging, and promoting cultural and heritage tourism in the 18 counties of the region.

Eduardo Vazquez

Loan Program Director

 

Eduardo Vazquez serves as the Loan Program Director at McCIF. As a native Wacoan, he graduated McLennan Community College in 2016. He spent almost 12 years in the credit union world. He has served in a variety of roles such as a teller, member service representative, collections specialist and ultimately working as a loan officer for over three years.




Eduardo is an active member of the Dean Highland Neighborhood Association. He is also a passionate advocate of limb difference/disability awareness, thanks to his daughter, Elena.
