Since 2011, Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth (FBP) has proudly awarded over $312,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Jackson, Pike, Ross, and Scioto counties who are pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) fields. FBP is dedicated to being an active corporate leader in the communities that have supported the Department of Energy’s Portsmouth site for more than 70 years, contributing to its nuclear and environmental remediation missions. FBP's mission is to create opportunities for area students to excel in STEAM disciplines.
Eligible applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be accepted into an accredited college or university with a declared major in a STEAM field. Ten scholarships, each valued at $2,000, will be awarded to deserving students.

Realizing the importance of training individuals for occupations that we rely on every day, FBP is proud to announce the introduction of the 2025 FBP Trade scholarship. The scholarship is intended for students attending a two-year college or vocational-technical school who are pursuing a trade degree or certificate.
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above and go to school in the counties of Jackson, Pike, Ross and Scioto. The scholarships, each valued at $1,000, will be awarded to four area students.
