2022-23 Club Leadership

Clubs should have now elected officers for the 2022-2023 year. Club secretaries are asked to report incoming officers to KI by June 1. Clubs may report officers known to date, even if a full slate of club leaders is not complete/elected yet.

The Nebraska-Iowa District has again scheduled Virtual Club Leadership Education this summer for incoming presidents, secretaries, treasurers and membership chairs. Advanced registration for these sessions on Zoom is now open. Click on the link below for more information.

Convention Delegate Forms

Registration for the District Convention Aug. 5 and 6 in Lincoln is now open. The special Early Bird Registration goes through July 12. Registration prices increase after that date.

Clubs can also start submitting Delegate Certifications for the House of Delegates at convention. Delegate forms are requested by July 29. (Each club is entitled to seat up to 3 delegates at the district's annual meeting.)

Service Award Applications Due July 1

Awards will again be a part of the Aug. 5 and 6 District Convention in Lincoln. The convention theme this year is Service Leadership!

Nominations are being accepted for the Everyday Hero Award, Everday Organization Hero Award, Distinguished Service Leadership Program Award and Mark Holmer Lay Person Service Award.

Application deadline is July 1. The application forms and criteria for each award can be found on the District website or click the buttons in this email.

Key Club Asking for Help

Dear Kiwanis Club Leadership,

I have sent out the attached letter in request for help from your clubs to support attendees for the Key Club International Convention. I have been blessed with several donations and I appreciate every bit of them. That said, if there is any chance that your club might consider helping we would very much appreciate it! Travel dates are upcoming and these donated funds will be reimbursements for those attending (June 3-10, 2022). Thanks very much for your consideration.
