Alberto Gallo
Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder, Andromeda Capital Management
Alberto Gallo is Chief Investment Officer and Co-founder at Andromeda Capital Management. Prior to that, Alberto initiated and ran the Global Credit Opportunities fund at Algebris Investments (2016-2022). Previously he ran macro credit research at RBS in London (2011-2016), and served in senior research roles at Goldman Sachs in New York (2008-2011), Bear Stearns in New York and London (2007-2008) and Merrill Lynch in London (2004-2007). Alberto is a CFA charterholder. He earned an MSc in Economics two years ahead of the norm, cum laude, from Bocconi University (2004), where he is now a guest professor in macroeconomics, at the SDA Bocconi School of Management. He has served on the ECB working group for financial stability for nearly ten years. He previously served in the Navy at the “F. Morosini” Naval Academy in Venice, Italy, where he led the 1997-2000 cadet class and was a national track & field athlete.

Vivek Paul, FIA, Managing Director, is Global Head of Portfolio Research and UK Chief Investment Strategist for the BlackRock Investment Institute (BII). The BII leverages BlackRock’s expertise and produces proprietary research to provide insights on the global economy, markets, geopolitics and long-term asset allocation – all to help clients and portfolio managers navigate financial markets. Vivek leads BII's Portfolio Research group, which is responsible for developing the core principles and intellectual property that underpin BlackRock's approach to portfolio design, such as Capital Market Assumptions and optimization tools. Vivek is part of BII's Global Leadership team. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2013, Vivek worked at Towers Watson as an investment consultant, where he specialized in advising pension funds and corporate clients on liability hedging derivative arrangements, financial modelling and investment strategy. He began his career at Hewitt Associates in 2005. Vivek earned an MMath degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick in 2005, with first class Honours. He earned an MSc in Actuarial Finance from Imperial College, London, in 2008 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Joanna Sharples, FIA

Joanna is a Partner in Aon's Investment Practice and is the Chief Investment Officer for Aon’s DC Solutions. She has over 20 years’ experience in the pension and investment industry and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Joanna is responsible for the development and implementation of delegated investment solutions for DC pension schemes, working closely with Aon’s UK delegated team. Joanna also leads the development of Aon’s house views around DC investments, in particular default and lifestyle strategies, and sits on the UK DC Investment Committee and UK Investment Policy Group.
Claire Tucker

Claire is a member of the HFS Senior Investment Forum and is primarily responsible for manager research, performing investment due diligence on prospective and existing hedge fund investments, while also contributing to asset allocation and portfolio management decisions. Prior to joining UBS in 2013, she spent two years as an Analyst on the European Rates Research team at RBS Markets where she covered fixed income and cross-asset derivatives in EUR, GBP, USD and JPY (2011-2013).
