2024 Legislative Session

Friends:

We had a great first week of the legislative session!

Highlights included:

• Record participation in our Policy Steering Committees, and 50 bills vetted by our dedicated teams
• A great first Legislative Committee meeting. We got through all of our business with 8 minutes to spare!
• SCR2, Concurrent Resolution Honoring the 100th Anniversary of the Utah Association of Counties (E. Vickers) received a favorable recommendation! Thank you, Senator Vickers!

If you want to get involved:

• Tell us which Policy Steering Committee zoom calls you want to attend and we’ll add you to the calendar invitations
• Attend Legislative Committee meetings on Thursdays at 10:00 AM in person at the Capitol, or on zoom
• Talk to your legislators about UAC’s Priority Policies
• Keep up with bills using the UAC Bill Tracker
• Attend County Day on the Hill next week!
