Dewan Clayborn as New President & CEO

The Central Maryland Chamber is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Dewan Clayborn as its new President & CEO. Mr. Clayborn will assume leadership on May 6, 2024.

A seasoned organizational leader, with a passion for fostering economic growth, Mr. Clayborn brings a wealth of experience to the chamber. After a successful career in management at Sam's Club and Target, he transitioned into the chamber of commerce sector in 2015. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce (LCRCC) near Houston, Texas.

“We are honored to welcome Dewan Clayborn as our new President & CEO,” said Mrs. Shay Cook, Chair of the Board. “His proven track record of success in the chamber of commerce world, coupled with his passion for connecting businesses, non-profits, and government, makes him the ideal leader to propel the Central Maryland Chamber to even greater heights.”
