Dear friends and colleagues,
How exciting this spring will be! We can’t wait for the What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit, June 11-12! We are thrilled to be in San Francisco (I am a native). And we’re looking forward to the AgeTech After Dark Pitch Challenge by the Age Tech Collaborative From AARP, which will be held on the first night in the Tonga room at the Fairmont San Francisco. More than 20 investors will attend the conference, and we will have the top leaders in senior housing, health care, home care and many points of distribution. If you have an investment thesis focused on longevity, be sure to attend, network, and accelerate your business. And don’t forget to apply to the AgeTech After Dark Pitch Challenge by April 22 or the $10k Business Plan Competition by April 30 and to submit a nomination for the John Hopper Impact Award by April 25 (the deadline has been extended).
On our latest Deal Talk podcast, we learned from GetSetUp about a new federal funding source. The Department of Commerce is releasing $1.44 billion to states through its State Digital Equity Capacity Grant Program to promote digital equity. GetSetUp sees this as a huge opportunity to continue working with states to support older adults!
Lastly, it was a privilege to be a judge at the 2024 Stanford Longevity Design competition. Continue to reading (in the Corporate Updates section) to learn more about the winners: Asterisk, Bala and LifeQuest.
We hope to see you in June!
Warmly,
Mary
