Covid Update

We are now aware of 8 church members who attended at least one of the Easter services and have tested positive for Covid. We wish them all a speedy recovery.

Under these circumstances, if you will be attending this Sunday service, we strongly recommend that you wear a mask, space your seating, and use the hand sanitizer when you enter the church. Of course, if you are feeling ill, please do not come to the church. These steps will help protect you and everyone at the church.

EMUC will be holding a one-day course in Emergency First Aid on Saturday, April 6. Please take note of the change in date. There is also an opportunity for Standard First Aid training, which adds an on-line component. For further details, please click here.

EMUC Striders on the History Hunt (Part 2) – Sunday, April 7

The hiking group has some unfinished business in Streetsville. We will be participating in the History Hunt in commemoration of Mississauga’s 50^th anniversary.

On April 7, for Part 2 of the History Hunt, sites in Meadowvale, Lake Aquitaine and Wabukayne will be visited.

And on May 5, when the magnolia and cherry trees should be in blossom, the Striders will visit the markers around City Centre which include Kariya Park for Part 3.

FUN AND GAMES! COME ONE; COME ALL!!

Membership and Pastoral Care cordially invites you to join the daytime men’s group for an afternoon of board/card games. We are gathering in the narthex/sanctuary on Wednesday, April 10 from 1 p.m. until about 3 for some socializing and fun. If you are able to bring your favourite snack or nibbly to share, that would be great! Games/cards and cold drinks will be supplied. Feel free to invite your friends, neighbours, and family! Fall Craft Sale/Market

Save the date! Saturday, November 2, 2024. EMUC is organizing a fall market! It will be a fun day with various vendors selling their wares, a bake table, lunch/tea room. Join the fun! You will hear more about it as plans evolve. Invitations will be going out to vendors soon. We want to give interested crafters/vendors in the congregation the first chance to reserve a table. If you would like a table to sell your craft, please let any of the organizing team know. The organizing team consists of Cathy Kiteley, Patti King, Pat Beck and Barb Jennings.

Mondays through Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Tina works from home on Mondays.)

Tina takes a ½ hour lunch break sometime between 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Kathi’s Office Hours:

Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other days by appointment.
