Ingham Academy Student Artwork on Display at Wharton Center

Students from Ingham Academy now have their artwork on display at the Wharton Center. As part of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts Partners in Education program, the students worked with Arts Integration Specialist Liz Wylegala and Ingham Academy Instructor Elizabeth Lund over an eight-session period building confidence and creativity. Students did a line drawing of themselves, and each piece had to include a crown. Using watercolors, acrylic paints, posca pens and permanent markers to make textures, students found their artistic voices and took pride in their final products. #InghamImpact

GSRP Preschool: Enrolling Now

Did you know Michigan’s GSRP Preschool is ranked #1 nationally? Most four-year-olds qualify for free enrollment. With classrooms located in all local districts as well as community-based organizations, a quality preschool education is easily within reach for all children. Research shows children who attend preschool are more likely to succeed in school and later in life.

With summer quickly approaching, now is the perfect time to help families get connected to preschools in their community. Help us spread the word and encourage families to apply now at inghampreschool.org.
