MARCH 5TH: A SUPER TUESDAY IN HARRIS COUNTY

Challenger Lillian Alexander defeated incumbent Judge Julia Maldonado by a 59% to 41% result. The Houston Chronicle endorsed the challenger for these reasons.

MARCH 6TH: THE DAY AFTER

Local attorneys the next day learned of a 1-page website called VoteNoToLillianAlexander.com which was launched a week prior. It directly attacked statewide mediator/attorney Tom King and board certified attorney Karleana Farias, using Facebook screenshots from their public and private pages without their permission in this negative campaign attack ad below.

APRIL 3RD: RECUSAL HEARING

On March 6th, Attorney Farias immediately filed a “Motion to Recuse” Judge Maldonado, as Farias had a contested hearing on March 7th in the 507^th. Judge Maldonado denied this request. ECLIPSE!

In Cameron, Texas we experienced a total solar eclipse where I'm working for April. What a beautiful courthouse and great court house staff. During the solar eclipse, this turkey came out on the front porch, but was quite. If you missed it, just reflect on all the times opposing counsel "threw some shade at you".
