Hear from King's alumni and faculty about the transformative impact of international experiential learning opportunities at King's including field courses in places such as Ghana, Ethiopia, Italy, Belgium, France and the Dominican Republic.
Alumni reflect on how King's experiential learning propelled them to leadership roles and empowered them to become changemakers in their careers after King's.

The culmination of the event will be the awarding of the prestigious Agnes Penner Prize.

Secure your spot for Fall 2024 at King’s
Intent to Register (ITR) is your opportunity to indicate your intention to study at King’s this Fall 2024 and your desired degree and program choices. All current first-year students MUST complete an ITR. Year 2, 3 and 4 students don't need to complete an ITR unless they wish to change their program/module, or if they are changing their course load status.
Complete your ITR by April 2, 2024.
Please note: First-year students may receive a text from King's Enrolment Services regarding Intent to Register on March 25-27. This is a great chance for you to ask Academic Advising any questions you may have regarding ITR.

King's Chamber Choir Concert: Celtic Voyage

King's University College Chamber Choir, along with special guest musicians, will present "Celtic Voyage," a concert of Celtic and East Coast choral music -- from poignant ballads to rollicking toe-tappers. Alexis Andrade, fourth-year Honours Double Major in English and Classical Studies
Alexis calls King’s her “academic playground,” giving her the freedom to explore her interests and pursue her Classical Studies major at Western. “It's not just a place to be; it's where I've become who I am today,” she says.
As part of the 2023 Global Undergraduate Awards. Alexis’s paper, exploring the essence and importance of the Feriale Duranum – a fragmented papyrus text that offers insight into Roman army celebrations and anniversaries, was named as Highly Commended.
“Connecting with fellow scholars worldwide who share my passions has been incredibly rewarding. It's not just about the recognition; it's about the sense of belonging to a global community of young academics making their mark,” she says.
Alexis will join Olivia Holland and Dr. Ian Rae, Department Chair and Associate Professor of English, on March 28, 2024 at one of Research Week's Fireside Chats. Alexis and Olivia will share their experiences as nominees in different categories at the Global Undergraduate Awards.

Solar Eclipse
April 8, 2024
A total solar eclipse will be visible along a narrow path that stretches from Mexico to Newfoundland and Labrador and includes parts of Ontario. Only a partial solar eclipse will be visible in London from 2:01 p.m. - 4:29 p.m. The Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory at Western offers more information, including tips on how to view the eclipse safely.
Please note: King's will be operating as normal on that day.

Apply to graduate! The deadline to apply is April 30, 2024. All students must apply to graduate through their Student Center. To apply, log in with your Western ID and from the Academics tile, select Graduation > Apply for Graduation and follow the on-screen instructions. You must also ensure that you verify your name on the system. For more information, visit Applying to Graduate.

King's basketball finishes third with Fair Play Team Award
Congratulations to the King's Basketball team which finished third at Laurier Brantford’s Ontario Collegiate Recreation (OCR) basketball tournament on March 8, 2024. The team was awarded the Tournament’s Fair Play Team Award for their sportsmanship and extraordinary effort during the competition. In April, the team travels to the University of Wisconsin to participate in the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) National Basketball Championships against teams from across North America.

St. Joe's Cafe has expanded its schedule to help meet the demands of the growing food-insecure community in London. The King’s community will be sending 10 people on a number of Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are able to volunteer over the next couple of months, please sign up here and follow the instructions on the page.

Join us for Sunday Eucharist
Masses are offered in The Chapel at Windermere on the Mount (WOTM) on Sundays at 10 a.m. and at 5 p.m. followed by the community meal in the parish hall. Weekday Masses will be on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at WOTM and noon mass on Thursdays and Fridays at King's Christ the King Chapel.
