GGUSD Connects with Families at Parent Leadership Academy

Yesterday, Garden Grove Unified School District welcomed more than 100 families to its Parent Leadership Academy where administrators and parent leaders from all GGUSD campuses spent time collaborating. The group heard a presentation from Andrea Gribble at SocialSchool4EDU about celebrating students and schools on social media as well a presentation from Superintendent, Dr. Gabriela Mafi, about the district's Parent Ambassador Program which equips families of recent graduates to mentor existing GGUSD families. This tremendous team of parents and administrators spent a wonderful morning together dedicated to learning and providing input to continue spreading our #GGUSDPride and improving opportunities for our students. Thank you to Board of Education Trustee Walter Muneton who also attended to show his support for the program and to connect with families. #GGUSDGoalGetters
