• Note: Payroll processed via Direct Deposit after December 27th may not be included in 2023 wages, regardless of who your payroll provider is.

• We recommend taking the time now to review, and update, if necessary, all employee addresses, social security numbers, and payroll information.

• If Bell Solutions processes your payroll, you will receive a list of your Employees, and their information, in your Payroll & Compliance Portal for your review.

• The last day to make employee and payroll changes is December 27th.

• W2s will be mailed in January to the employee addresses in QuickBooks.

• We recommend taking the time now to make sure you have W9s on file for all sole proprietors, contractors, attorneys, landlords, and other vendors required to received 1099s for income that you paid in 2023.

• If you signed up for Bell Solutions to process your 1099s, please ensure all of your W9s have been supplied.

• Bank, Credit Card & Loan Statements
• Expense Receipts
• Point of Sale Reports (ie: Square, Stripe, Shopify, Paypal, etc.)
• Employee Benefit Summaries
• Owner Mileage

• You would have been notified on December 1st of any outstanding statements or reports needed through November.

• You will be notified this week if you have any outstanding Uncategorized transactions that still need addressed.

• You will be notified on January 1st of anything needed to close the year.

• These closures may affect the timing of Direct Deposit, ACH, and other financial transactions.

• Payroll support will be available from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on December 26th & 27th and January 2nd & 3rd.
