E-Connection

January 21, 2025

Joe Kenaston, Senior Pastor

It is the season for snow, ice, wind, and cold. January has been a challenge for all of us. But during the winter, I have many things for which I am thankful:

  • A house with heat
  • Gas logs in the fireplace
  • Water and hot water
  • Electricity
  • Trash pick up
  • An HOA that has had the street plowed
  • A snowblower and a snow shovel
  • Food in the frig, freezer, and pantry
  • People clearing the roads, responding to emergencies, and maintaining utilities
  • Hospitals and medical treatment
  • Schools
  • Restaurants
  • Businesses
  • Church: worship, broadcasts, education, small groups, friendship, fellowship, and mission

This is my short list. What would you put on your list? Even in challenging weather, we still have much to be thankful for. I invite you to lift up your thanks to God for the many blessings that we often take for granted. I also invite you to pray for ways that God can use you to be a blessing to others.

Grace and peace,

Joe
