CHRIST IS RISEN!

He is risen indeed! ALLELUIA!

PARKING LOT UPDATE:

We are working with Zion Lutheran Church to determine the timeline for repairing the south parking lot. For now, the north and south entrances will be available from 8:00-8:10 and 3:00-3:30. We truly apologize for the inconvenience.

However, for the security and safety of everyone, if you are dropping your child off prior to 8:00, use the east entrance only.

The north and south doors are on an automatic timer that will open them at 8:00. Please to not ring to be let in at these doors before 8:00 or knock to have someone by the door let you in. Prior to 8:00, teachers are either in staff devotions or making final preparations for the day. You are welcome to enter at the east entrance, though.

The church and school look forward to when we can share a solution to the parking lot situation.

Again, thanks so much for your patience and understanding!

WE ARE GROWING!! Martin Luther School is taking applications for the position of 6th grade teacher. If you have a true love of teaching, enjoy sharing Christ, and are up for the challenge of learning more about classical education, this is a position for you. This is a rather flexible position as we are accessing the gifts and talents of our teachers in the middle school grades and utilizing their individual strengths. We have a supportive team of teachers learning together as we continue to grow in our knowledge of the classical Christian philosophy of education. Interested applicants may email Principal Denise Wolfgram at wolfgram@lutherschools.org to receive an application or call the school office at 701-224-9070.

Winter coat? Jacket? Sweatshirt? T-shirts?

Because of our fickle weather and sometimes cooler classrooms, it's helpful for your child to have a lighter jacket/sweatshirt/ sweater option available for those warmer days outside, as well as cooler days while inside. Sometimes a t-shirt is just too cool to wear these days in the classroom, so to help your child be comfortable, we encourage you to provide a long-sleeved option or sweatshirt.

Likewise, we may have "winter coat weather" in the morning for recess, and "sweatshirt weather" in the afternoon or after school. Having a lighter coat option will prepare us for our lovely, ever-changing ND weather!
