Water

Weather permitting, the water will be ON Monday, April 15th. IF the water is on, overnight stays will be allowed. If the weather or other conditions prevent us from turning the water on, overnight stays will be prohibited.

Turning on the water is a week-long process between us and our well company that requires all wells and water lines to be treated with chlorine and flushed. The IDPH then takes water samples. Once approved, then we can turn the water on.

The official water turn-on date will be announced on our Facebook page, Seasonal Facebook Group page, Fish Lake Beach website under the NEWS module, and through an alert on CampersApp.

Registration Reminders

The Deadline to Register is May 15th. If you are not registered by May 15th you'll get one temporary vehicle pass when you arrive.

The pass will be valid for one week to allow you to finish registering. If you are not registered after the temporary vehicle pass expires your admission to the property will be restricted.

Call 847-546-2228 between 9am-3pm, M-F if you require additional assistance with the registration process.

Please download or print your completed 2024 registration and read through it, particularly the Seasonal Handbook. We appreciate that many seasonals are well aware of how things run at Fish Lake Beach, however, updates to how we run happen nearly every year. No matter how big or small, those must be communicated between all parties to avoid misunderstandings. Thank You.

Fun This Season!

Outdoor Movies

We're going to mix up the locations that we use to show outdoor movies. Some will be at the pool and others will be at the former outdoor movie location, near the gaga pit.

In addition, on select nights we'll have "Drive-in Movie"! night where kids can create and decorate their own 'car' using cardboard boxes-perfect for snuggling in a blanket and snacking while watching!

SUPER FUN!

85 Years of Memories: Monthly Throwback

In the mid 50's our grandfather Al and our dad Del, built cabins on the property. This is the only picture we have of these cabins that are located where the mini-golf was along the road. See the big oak behind the cabins? It's still there with the beach rec hall located just beyond. There were 4 cabins along the road. In those years having running water, electricity, and an inside toilet was all that was expected. Our mom, Yvonne, sewed the curtains from flour sacks. Inside was one large room, with a dining table, refrigerator, sink & hot plate, double bed, bunk bed, and toilet. We believe that the cabins were only rented by the week and came with the use of a fishing boat. Although the cabins are long gone we now have beautiful park models where they used to reside that will be rented and enjoyed for many years. It's a wonderful feeling to keep the tradition going. :)
