Healing Our Grief Through Intentional Creativity

A painting journey of exploring, honoring, and gaining new perspectives regarding our loved ones who transitioned. Through image and language, this journey accesses our mind, body, emotion and spirit in accessing our inner wisdom in honoring our grief, and ourselves as we move forward in our life’s journey. No artistic experience need.

Sense of Balance

A fun class using proven methods to combat age-related movement and balance loss. This class will include strength, balance, and flexibility training in sitting and standing positions. Bring an exercise band to class or purchase one at class.

Foot Care

Includes: Toenail cutting, foot bath, and foot massage. Minor calluses and rough areas. Corns are a medical procedure therefore this procedure is not performed.

Toledo Zoo & Aquarium

Th 7/27 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The Toledo Zoo and Aquarium is one of the best in the county. The aquarium features 3,000+ aquatic animals in 178,000 gallons of water.

The zoo houses an internationally-famous Hippoquarium. Other exhibits that make this zoo special are Arctic Encounter, Frog Town, Cheetah Valley, and Primate Forest.

Includes: motor coach transportation and admission to the Toledo zoo and aquarium

Not included: lunch and bus driver's tip ($1-$2 per person suggested)

The Wine Bus

Th, 6/22, 10:45 a.m-6:30 p.m.

This bus takes us down to the Irish Hills. Chateau Aeronautique Winery was founded in a hangar overlooking the runway in 2009. In 2017 they moved to a new 8,000 square foot facility on 28 acres in the Irish Hills. Located in an 1870’s Schoolhouse, Cherry Creek Cellars takes pride in Crafting Michigan-made wine, cider, and beer for everyone in a picturesque vineyard setting. You can find your “own” place among the lakes at The Winery North of 12. Come experience their unique tasting experience. Their spacious tasting room sits on 5 acres and has two large patios. 

Entree selection: Lasagna or Vegetarian Lasagna

Includes: motor coach transportation, lunch and wine tasting at Chateau Aeronautique Winery Irish Hills, wine tasting at The Winery North of 12, and wine tasting at Cherry Creek Cellars.
