Message from Rebecca:
My tenure in ITRC leadership has drawn to a close and my dear colleagues, it's hard to put words to what ITRC means to me. If we've had the pleasure of getting to know one another, you've already heard the (always lengthy) stories of an ITRC journey that's been nothing short of wonderful.
Looking back on my years of team membership and leadership, I'm more focused on the ways ITRC gave so much, much more than what I could humbly give back to the organization. Many metrics could be used to capture the specifics, but intangible measures are what linger for me. Partnerships, collaborations, and leadership lessons come immediately to mind, but more-so, the immeasurable friendships made. It's entirely possible to make lifelong friends and never realize it's happening in the moment. This is my favorite reflection in the rearview mirror.
I hope my legacy of ITRC involvement is one that inspires you to keep at it, learn, adapt and never stop making memories full of laughter with colleagues you'll one day call friends. Step up to the very first opportunity, especially when you're doubting yourself and dominate the challenge. Each of you is capable and you're what makes ITRC amazing.
