Celebrating our Kids Tea Party!
What a wonderful turn out for our Annual Kids Tea Party! We welcomed 30 children, who enjoyed all the deliciousness of a tea party - minus the tea! Punch, hot chocolate, cheese cubes, fruit, veggies, sandwiches & other treats. Awards were even given for best dressed! Thanks to the parents who brought their kids as well as to all who helped with food and serving! Big thanks to Roman Inestroza and Katie Berfeldt who took lead, Brandon Polhemus in the dish room, and the youth who served: Alex Ponce, Jack Ponce, Graciela Diede, Elena Larson, Santiago Jacques and Leif Torkelson.
Ladies Night: Ukrainian Egg Decorating
A wonderful night for ladies decorating Easter Eggs - Pysanka Ukrainian style. Crosstown welcomed 25 women from both the neighborhood and congregation to eat delicious food and decorate. Big thanks to our teacher, Bonnie Overcott, and to Kathy Anderson and Katie Berfeldt who helped host the event.
This new Grow Group launched on Wednesday, March 13 @ 6:30 pm and continues for six weeks. This small group is part of a national initiative to confront toxic polarization in our nation and heal our broken politics. Our example is Jesus–a leader who refused to be defined by the politics of his day. An introduction to the curriculum we will use can be found at the following: https://redeemingbabel.org/the-after-party/
