Dear Families & Graduates of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Class of 2024,

We are excited for you to begin your FINAL QUARTER at BBHHS! The Class of '24 has earned many collective and individual accomplishments during their four-year journey. We look forward to recognizing those accomplishments and their contributions to our school and communities over these next several weeks, especially on Saturday, May 25th. However, Class of '24, your journey as a Bee is never truly over, and certainly not at this point in time. We challenge you to continue to honor the time you have left at BBHHS over the next several weeks and complete your journey as a Bee in the most positive and honorable manner possible.

Today, we are happy to release the initial information update on the relevant end-of-year and commencement-day information. The attached Commencement Bulletin provides a detailed overview of end-of-year processes and information protocols based on up-to-date information. If anything needs to be adjusted, we will notify families of the updates as promptly as possible.

The Key Bank State Theatre provides an online-only ticketing system and implements assigned seating. The online portal is expected to go live no later than Monday, April 29th. We can confirm that each BBHHS graduate will have access to ten tickets for commencement. Once we receive the verification from the State Theatre, we will share that information in a pre-announced email announcing the time for the launch of the online portal and provide directions on securing your allocated tickets to ensure all families have equal access to selecting their seats.

Embedded in the Commencement Bulletin are two key Google Forms surveys designed to help us gauge participation. Please complete the following surveys in a timely manner so that our staff can best plan for commencement day exercises. Your timely completion of these surveys is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for being patient as you await ticketing availability and seat selection information. The BBHHS staff and Key Bank State Theatre teams are working hard to make this a special event for the Class of 2024 and their families, and we are excited to share this significant life accomplishment with you.

Sincerely,

Kevin G. Jakub
