Dear Parents,
This week was exciting as the kids spent time learning about St. Patrick's Day and took part in many special events. Our staff also had a special St. Patrick's Day treat. Each week I try to show appreciation to our teachers by having a little Wonderful Wednesday Surprise waiting for them. They love getting little snacks and treats. This week however there was a HUGE surprise....
When they arrived each person picked out a Lucky Leprechaun and scratched off the gold seal to reveal wonderful prizes ranging from Lotto Tickets, Amazon and Publix gift cards, paid time off, and even $50 and $100 bonuses. A terrific time was had by all. Below is a photo of the event.
This week we also announced that we will be opening a second Kindergarten class. So far class 1 has 12 children and class 2 has 11. That means we have one space left if any of our VPK kids still wish to enroll. Please keep in mind that all families will be billed the first $80 registration installment the last Monday of March.
May of you have been asking about our annual spring egg hunt. This year it will take place after Easter. This is because our VPK and K-2 kids will have their Spring Break NON instructional week the last week of March and we did not want them to miss out. That said, our spring egg hunt will be on Wednesday, April 3rd.
Parents are invited to join in the fun so mark your calendars. Times for individual class hunts will be forthcoming so stay tuned. Should you wish to prepare, we ask that each child bring in a dozen eggs filled with NON CANDY ITEMS. Some examples include but are not limited to; Little stickers, small toys, or fruit stacks. Lots of Dollar Tree options out there so be creative.
Finally, Josh was not here this week because he had a broken pizza oven. He will return next week so get ready for another wonderful No Cook Wednesday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
