Cherry Blossom Festival Organ Concerts

March 18-22 | Noon | Sanctuary


Mulberry will once again host a series of 30-minute organ concerts during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Come hear local organists, including our Organist Zachary Golden and Church Administrator Hunter Godsey! Co-Sponsored by Mulberry St UMC & Macon Chapter of The American Guild of Organists.

St. Joseph Catholic Church is hosting the Old City Flower Show, featuring 19 churches including Mulberry! There will be free tours of St. Joseph and the flowers all weekend - be sure to go see the beautiful arrangements and show your support!

Easter Egg Hunt - Egg Donations & Volunteer Call!

The annual Easter Egg Hunt on Coleman Hill will be Sunday, March 24!  We need your help to get ready for this fun family event! Ways you can help:

  • Sign up to volunteer, including games & activities, set up, and clean up!
  • Take a bag of eggs home to stuff with candy (Eggs can be found in the tubs in the atrium & narthex)
  • Donate 2 dozen pre-filled eggs
  • Donate extra bags of candy

Flowering of the Mulberry Easter Cross

Sunday, March 31

On Easter Sunday morning members of Mulberry are asked to bring flowers from their yards or gardens to place on the cross in Mulberry’s courtyard. The cross will be covered in greenery and chicken wire and flowers will be easily placed on the cross. Please bring flowers to the courtyard prior to Sunday school. This beautiful blooming cross will symbolize our risen Christ to all who pass by our church home after Easter.

Holy Week Services

March 25-29 | MSUMC Sanctuary

  • Daily Noon Services - Daily Taizé worship services followed by a light lunch in the sanctuary every day at noon.
  • Maundy Thursday Tenebrae - The service of Tenebrae, or “Darkness,” is an extended meditation on the Passion of Christ. 6 pm in the Sanctuary.
  • Good Friday Evening Service - This service will be a time for remembering Christ’s sacrifice for us and meditating on the meaning of the cross. 6 pm in the Sanctuary

Youth Highlight!

Barrett Moody is a senior at The Academy for Classical Education and a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church youth. He is collecting these items at ACE and donating them to Macon Outreach as a drive through his organization Youth United. So thankful for our youth that continue to demonstrate a heart for missions!
