William Bryant has been the Head of Advisory at NorthPeak Advisory since the launch of the firm in September 2020. NorthPeak Advisory is a boutique advisory firm supporting asset managers, asset owners and corporates integrate responsible investment and sustainability considerations practices into their investment processes and businesses. Prior to NorthPeak Will spent 15 years in the alternative investment space at the global consultant Albourne Partners. Will worked in Europe and the US supporting institutional investors manage their alternative asset portfolios. Will co-led Albourne’s initiative to support investors integrating Responsible Investment into their alternative portfolios and assessing responsible investment practices at alternative asset managers. Will has had articles published in industry publications around the topic of responsible investment and ESG data. Will has spoken at PRI, SBAI, AIMA and other events on the topic of responsible investment. Will is a member of a number of industry working groups focused on the topic of Responsible Investment. Will graduated from Durham University, UK with a degree in Geography. Will is a CFA charterholder.
Stephanie Niven
Portfolio Manager, Ninety One
Stephanie is co-portfolio manager of the Global Sustainable Equity strategy within the Sustainable Equity team at Ninety One. Prior to joining the firm Stephanie worked at Aviva Investors where she was co-portfolio manager for the Global Equity Endurance Fund, a top performing global equity strategy awarded the 5 Globe Morningstar sustainability rating and low carbon designation. Before this Stephanie worked for Tesco Pension Investment managing the Global Equity Fund. Here she had joint responsibility for building and establishing the global equity investment process, generating excellent performance over five years in long term investing. Other roles include partner and portfolio manager at Javelin Capital LLP, and Stephanie started her career on the global equity team at Goldman Sachs. She is a board trustee of Humanism UK, an ambassador for the Diversity Project, a mentor within the CFA UK Mentoring Programme, and a member of the board of trustees for the COIF Charity Funds. Stephanie graduated from Merton College, University of Oxford with a Double First in Modern History and recently received the Certificate of Sustainable Investing from the University of Cambridge. Stephanie is a CFA® Charterholder.
Marina Petroleka
Global Head of Research, Sustainable Fitch
Marina Petroleka is Managing Director, Global Head of Research in Sustainable Fitch, based in London. In her role, Marina leads a global team of senior research analysts undertaking detailed research and analysis on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) themes, as well as analysis of insights derived from Sustainable Fitch’s proprietary ESG ratings, scores, assessments, with an aim to support investors and participants in the fixed income markets to identify emerging risks and understand prevailing trends in this space.
Anna Rudgard
Sustainable Investing, Brown Advisory
Anna is a fixed income research analyst at Brown Advisory where she is responsible for the integration of sustainable investment considerations across global corporate, securitized and supranational issuers with a specific focus on the financials and consumer sectors. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Anna was a Senior Consultant and global lead for fixed income ESG fund research at Aon. Anna started her career working for a social enterprise that seeks to address U.K. socioeconomic inequality through education.
Jeremy Carter
Global Group Head for Corporate Ratings, Fitch Ratings
Jeremy Carter is the Global Group Head for Corporate Ratings. His team is responsible for the rating and surveillance of over 2,000 non-financial corporate ratings with $14 trillion of rated debt. Most recently Mr Carter was Chief Credit Officer for Fitch Ratings. The Chief Credit Officer and his team act as a check and balance on the ratings team, providing additional perspectives and research to protect the quality of Fitch’s ratings. Previously Mr. Carter was Fitch's first Chief Criteria Officer, where he established a central team to review and approve the firm's ratings criteria and models. In 2011, Mr. Carter launched the Credit Market Commentary team at Fitch. The team produces Fitch Wire, which offers rapid Fitch opinion on the most important events affecting the global credit markets. Mr. Carter joined Fitch Ratings in 2005 in its European Structured Credit Group. Before joining Fitch, Mr. Carter was the London Bureau Chief for Institutional Investor. Mr. Carter is a graduate of Exeter University.
