AI Palooza for Educators: Tools, Tips, and Fun

Although artificial intelligence (AI) has been around since the 1960s, easy-to-use platforms like ChatGPT, Google Bard, MidJourney, Dall-E, SudoWrite, MagicSchool, and MyLessonPlan are providing many educators with their first opportunities to create content and engage students through AI. This workshop explores the fundamentals of Generative AI and its relevance within the higher education context. Participants use Generative AI platforms to create innovative teaching methodologies as well as discuss the ethical implications and potential biases when using AI-generated content for educational purposes.
